Living in Massachusetts the winters are considered “slow season,” if you tend to shoot a lot of sessions outdoors. Renting studio spaces is a great alternative no matter what season you are in and creates a completely different look. This particular studio had a beautiful white backdrop space, so we took full advantage of it.
I worked with Hannah Lailberte, a hair and make-up artist form Boston, Ma to conceptualize the concept for this shoot. The vision was a white dress that had some flow and texture to it.
During our session with Ashley, the sun came through one of the windows. I wanted to take full advantage of the natural light and unique element it brought to the photos.
As formakeupp, Hannah and I wanted a simple base with a pop of color for the eyes. Decided on a smokey pink eyelid with a natural glossy lip.
